Interview of LTJG Amber Jack, USCG, containing detailed descriptions of her activities relating to Hurricane Katrina rescue operations including: her assignment as one of two staging area managers for Coast Guard station Pascagoula, Miss.; setting up a staging area in Pascagoula where the incident command post in Mobile, Ala., could send supplies that would be available for deployment when and where needed; managing the supply needs of the station as well as local Coast Guard cutters conducting search and rescue operations; arranged for the station to get its own fuel tank; and assisting station personnel with missions, as well as their families' needs.
